In Season 3 of Summer House, Paige DeSorbo and Carl Radke's attraction led them to meet up in the kitchen pantry — where there were no prying eyes and, more importantly, no cameras. However, by the end of the season, their romance had pretty much fizzled out and now in Season 4, Paige has a steady boyfriend. So inquiring minds want to know: Just how far did Paige and Carl's attraction actually ever take them?
When Paige and housemate Hannah Berner sat down with The Daily Dish podcast, they decided to spill some never-confirmed information about those very hookups. Paige said that sharing a house with Carl last summer wasn't awkward despite their history — and Hannah had a theory why.
"I think because you didn’t have sex," Hannah said. In fact, there was no "penis touching" at all, according to Paige.
The pantry activity "was so PG," Paige said. "Wholesome fun. It was like a ‘50s movie. You know, it was just like we kissed, because I just didn’t want to [take it further]."
"There was an explanation," Hannah opined. "I think it’s like you don’t want to give yourself physically to a guy who’s not giving you anything emotionally. You’re not just trying, especially with someone in the house, you don’t just want to have sex to have sex." (You may recall Paige's main problem with Carl was that he wasn't texting her during the week.)
