Michael Lorber may be gone from Million Dollar Listing New York, but the Big Apple agent is certainly not forgotten. Michael was one of the three OG MDLNY agents, along with Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund, who took viewers inside the hustle and bustle of high-end New York real estate when the show launched in 2012. But his run on the series would be short-lived as the Douglas Elliman agent left the series prior to Season 2. And as it turns out, that after his departure he didn't exactly keep in touch with Ryan.

How to Watch

"Not really — I do in the sense that if I bump into him on the street, we'll talk kind of catch up," Ryan recently told The Daily Dish. "We didn't really know each other when the show started, and we obviously they film us doing our separate lives, so we didn't really know each other afterwards. And I haven't really seen him, to be honest." But, Ryan notes, he wouldn't mind a proper reunion. "It'd be nice to catch up with him though," he said. "He was pretty funny."

Ryan's comments about his relationship with Michael mirror what Michael told us back in September 2015. "I've stayed close with Fredrik — he and his husband [Derek] have come to my house in Nantucket, and we're having dinner next week," Michael said at the time. "I never really knew Ryan — I just wasn't close with him — but I saw him a few months ago and I met his fiancée [Emilia]. She was so sweet."

After Michael exited the series, Luis D. Ortiz stepped in — and Ryan admits that he actually wouldn't want anyone else but high-spirited agent on the series. "Luis is awesome," Ryan told us in our recent chat. "Now, looking back, it's hard to even imagine the show without Luis because of how different he is and how much he switches it up."

Ryan isn't wrong about Michael being funny. Remember when he tried stand-up comedy? No?! Check out the throwback moment, below.
