Dolores Made Major Changes to Her & Paulie’s House: “Not a Bachelor Pad Anymore” (EXCLUSIVE)
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member gave a big update on her living situation with her boyfriend, Paul "Paulie" Connell.
Dolores Catania is still going strong and living with her boyfriend of three years, Paul "Paulie" Connell. The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple reside in Paulie's stunning house, as seen in the video above. But, Dolores has made just a few changes to the house to make it more her own since permanently moving in back in May 2023.
"Now it's a home," she told The Daily Dish exclusively in a recent interview conducted back in November. "It's not a bachelor pad anymore."
Dolores noted the major way that she has helped redesign the super-spacious house, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows, a rooftop patio, and an open kitchen. She revealed that her main domain in Paulie's house is in the bedrooms (multiple), which currently store her clothes. "I have taken up every spare room as a closet," she said. "I have taken every closet as mine except for [his closet]."
Dolores Catania reveals why she and Paulie Connell might need a bigger house
Dolores is serious — her stuff is taking over the house, and it's continuing to grow so much so that they might need a bigger space to call home.
"I wasn't lying when I'm telling you, no joke, but this is just one room that I took over," she said of one of his bedrooms. "I want the bed out of here, and if Paul wants to buy a big house, then that's fine. I'll have a closet, but until then, I'm taking the spare rooms, sorry."
The mom of two revealed that her boyfriend never planned on meeting her when he bought the Edgewater, New Jersey house. So, she does have her minor complaints about the space. "I've complained to him about this house a few times," she said. "I'm like, the floors and the this, and the that, and there's no parking when I wanna invite people over,. "e goes — 'When I built this house, I didn't plan on having a girlfriend, OK?'"
Would Dolores Catania and Paulie Connell move out of their New Jersey house?
Although she does have her issues with the house, she told The Daily Dish that she is getting used to making the space her own. "We look at houses here and there, but honestly, I'm starting to get used to it here," she said.
"I like a home," she continued. "I still have my home that you've seen in Northampton. I don't have the holidays here. I have them in the house where things can get ruined. This is like, different."
Details on Dolores Catania's Northampton House
Dolores began the renovations on her primary home in 2021, before they were completed a year later. Not long after the renovations were completed, Dolores surprised everyone by moving in with Paulie.
But, she told BravoTV.com in May 2023, that she was keeping the house, as her two adult children were living their with their dogs. "I can't sell the house. It's become a dog shelter," she joked. "With my daughter and my son there, there [are] about seven dogs, and everybody's living happily in the house that I've redone. So it's here to stay."
