Don’t Be Tardy chef Tracey Bloom is still bringing the heat in the kitchen, and soon, fans will be able to follow along with her delicious recipes. After teasing a new cookbook on social media, she revealed in a September 4 Instagram caption that she’s “almost finished” with the project, which will be available for presale on September 15.

That’s not to say the Top Chef alum’s summer has been all work and no play though. The same September 4 post included photos of a “needed break” she took with her 4-year-old son Kannon to the Georgia Aquarium. The adorable snaps seemed to show that the mother-son duo was most taken by the shark exhibit at the aquarium which houses species ranging from hammerhead and tiger sharks to whale sharks.

Even though Kannon has also been busy embarking on “new adventures” with his first day of pre-k falling on August 1, as his proud mom shared on Instagram, he’s still found time to help perfect the soon-to-be-published cookbook recipes. On August 30, Tracey shared several photos and a video of Kannon pushing a mini shopping cart through the grocery store as they picked up some essential ingredients, ultimately deeming their trip “a success.”

Earlier in the summer, Tracey, who’s previously shown off her culinary skills as Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s private chef, found a way to keep her stress level low while compiling her recipes. She shared on June 14 that she’d been “doing nature walks once a week,” including on Stone Mountain Trail outside of Atlanta.

“Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress, and increases pleasant feelings,” she wrote over a hiking video montage.
