Dorit Kemsley Confirms Beverly Beach Lawsuit "Finally Came to a Resolution"
The swimwear designer kicked off The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 10 with some news.
After rumors about her finances and legal matters surrounded Dorit Kemsley last season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she was happy to kick off Season 10 with some good news.
During the RHOBH Season 10 premiere on April 15, Dorit shared an update on her lawsuit with her former business partner of her swimwear line Beverly Beach. "The reason why I couldn't come in yesterday, I had the mediation finally. You know, the Beverly Beach lawsuit that I've been in," Dorit told Kyle Richards while on the way to helping her friend with her New York Fashion Week show. "We finally came to a resolution. I think everyone's just like, 'You know what? Let's just be done with it.'"
Dorit expressed how relieved she felt to finally be able to put their lawsuit behind her. "I've lived with this lawsuit that I couldn't express my frustration about for so long," Dorit said in an interview during the episode. "But both parties gave a little bit. Now it's finally over."
Dorit explained why this was one area of her life she wasn't able to be open about during the RHOBH Season 9 reunion. "The judge has ordered mediation. The judge looked at it and said, 'Listen, you guys figure this out,'" she said. "I am very comfortable in our position, it is in the lawyers' hands, it doesn't need to have a discussion because there's a lot of details about it that I can't really speak about."
