There's no doubt that the drama of Downton Abbey can be just as spicy as anything you see on the Real Housewives. Between clandestine dalliances, to mysterious murders, to, yes, even baby daddy drama, the inhabitants of that great estate have found themselves in some precarious situations over the course of six seasons. And as the show wraps up its epic run, Michelle Dockery, who plays Downton's ultimate mean girl Lady Mary, is finally weighing in on what her small-screen persona's Housewife tagline would be.
"I’m Lady Mary Crawley, and this season, I ride a stride," she shared during Thursday's episode of Watch What Happens Live.
And while U.S. fans of the PBS series will have to wait until 2016 to see how it all wraps up for the upstairs and downstairs crews of Downton, there's still a chance that there could be more in the future. "Possibly a movie. We haven’t had the call yet," Michelle teased. The final episode final episode of Downton Abbey airs on Christmas Day in the U.K. before premiering stateside on January 3.
And if you've always wondered how much of a diva Dame Maggie Smith is on set, all is revealed by Allen Leech below.
