“It’s crazy I was a graduate now I’m on the stage giving words of encouragement to the future doctors of the world! Thanks for the honor!” she concluded, also adding hashtags that read “grateful” and “full circle.”

The post was flooded with congratulations from her fellow Married to Medicine castmates. So proud of you!!!! Dr. Jackie Walters wrote in the comments, while Dr. Simone Whitmore added, “I know you did an amazing job!!! Congratulations!!!"

Contessa’s husband, Dr. Scott Metcalfe, also took to his own Instagram to commemorate the occasion. The proud spouse shared a video of Contessa holding up her cap and gown while standing in front of the university.

“Question ‘hey wife what are we doing this evening? Her answer ‘Not much, I’m just delivering the commencement speech to the medical school graduates at St. Louis University!,” he wrote in the caption, also adding, “What an Honor!!! Congratulations @drcontessa.”
