Elaine Welteroth Just Experienced an "Incredible" Pregnancy Moment with Her Husband
The Bravo's Project Runway judge and husband Jonathan Singletary marked a huge moment on their way to becoming parents.
Elaine Welteroth and husband Jonathan Singletary just experienced a huge first while expecting their first child.
The Bravo's Project Runway judge recently gave her Instagram followers an intimate look at a special moment that she and her musician hubby, whom she wed in May 2020, had as they await their little one's arrival. "Halfway there guys getting KICKS now…CRAZY times…highly emotional today," Elaine wrote in an Instagram post on November 18. "This is [Jonathan] feeling our very first kick."
The Instagram post featured a photo of Jonathan smiling as he touches Elaine's baby bump and feels their child kick for the first time, as the Project Runway judge noted in the caption. Elaine also thanked Mary Shenouda, who goes by the handle @paleochef on Instagram, for capturing the moment, which Elaine said that she and Jonathan "will savor forever."
Jonathan also added of the experience in his Instagram Stories, "This moment was incredible."
The day got even more incredible when Jonathan sent Elaine flowers. "Having one of those days... And then THIS happened," Elaine said of the surprise bouquet in her Instagram Stories.
The gift came with a note congratulating Elaine on getting to the halfway point of her pregnancy. "You did it Joe!! 20 weeks creating life. Baby I'm so proud of you for enduring one of the most uncomfortable seasons of life," Jonathan's message read. "You've carried so much with grace, faith [and] patience all while supporting me working my dream. I'm so grateful it's you!"
Elaine first announced her pregnancy on Instagram in October, which featured a collection of clips of the couple's journey, including the weeks after they found out they were going to be parents. "New creative collab with [Jonathan] dropping spring 2022 #JesusTookTheWheel," Elaine captioned the post, which also featured a soundtrack created by Jonathan.
Jonathan also shared the same announcement on his Instagram. "In other life-altering, world-shifting, praise-and-worship-inducing news….we got one on the way!!" he exclaimed in the post. "Thanks in advance for all the prayers for Elaine, me, and the lil’ one. We’re hyped for this journey."
It looks like Elaine and Jonathan are loving life as parents-to-be, which is evident in photos from a recent romantic staycation in Los Angeles they experienced with just the two of them over Halloween weekend. "Caught a vibe. Followed it all weekend long. Even stumbled upon a little staycation vibe in our own damn neighborhood. Hit an art show. Did dinner out, just the two of us for the first time in forever. Fell asleep in a hot bath. Was in bed by 10pm," Elaine described the dreamy outing. "Currently feeling very 30-something this holiday weekend and embracing every minute of it. I love this city! I love this man! I love that I have no idea where the #Halloween party’s at! Lol."
