Countess Luann and Housewives Bring "More Energy" to Fashion, According to Elie Tahari
The designer — who has appeared on #RHONY — gets real about the ladies' fashion aspirations.
Another day, another fashion or accessories line from one of the Real Housewives. Everyone from NeNe Leakes to Sonja Morgan and Lisa Rinna have dipped their toe in the world of fashion by launching a collection. With Real Housewives of New York's Countess Luann set to debut her jewelry line, Countess Luann Jewelry Collection, on EVINE Live Friday (October 16), we wanted to know what one of the industry's heavyweights thinks about the ladies wearing their designer hats.
"I feel it gives our industry more energy," Elie Tahari told The Daily Dish last month. "It's energized our industry. There is more attention given to fashion." With the ladies getting the co-sign from the legendary designer, we just had to know who he thinks has the best style of all the women. "You're getting me in trouble now. We'll move on," he joked.
Now that she has the go-ahead from one of fashion's biggest names, Luann isn't holding back on her latest endeavor. Earlier this summer, The Daily Dish chatted a bit with Luann about her newly-launched accessories line — and she revealed what fans can expect as she branches out into the world of bling. "It's costume, big statement pieces like I love — which everyone knows me for," she explained. And you can bet that Luann really wears her designs, as seen below.
