Elizabeth Frankini Says Ashling Lorger's Recent Criticism of Her Work "Was Very Hurtful"

Izzy Wouters also reflected on talking about Francesca Rubi in Below Deck Season 8 on WWHL

When Ashling Lorger made her Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen debut earlier this month, the Below Deck stew dished on all things Season 8, including the tension between chief stew Francesca Rubi and stew Elizabeth Frankini.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Peacock and the Bravo App.

During a speed round of questions in a segment titled "Stew On It," host Andy Cohen asked Ashling, "Was Francesca too quick to try and get Elizabeth fired, or is she a lost cause?" "Personally, she's a lost cause," Ashling said in response. "That girl should have stepped it up a long time ago."

So, when Elizabeth appeared on WWHL on January 18, one fan wanted to know her reaction to Ashling's previous comments. "Hearing that, it was actually very hurtful because the whole time on the boat, I thought we were friends and good co-workers. She never expressed any of this towards me," Elizabeth said. "I wish that kind of behavior and words would be said to me at the time [to] my face."

Elizabeth has done some venting herself about Francesca this season of Below Deck with the chief stew overhearing her comments on more than one occasion. Izzy Wouters, who appeared on WWHL with Elizabeth took responsibility for Elizabeth getting in trouble after Francesca overheard their conversation about the second stew's demotion. "That was my fault," Izzy said of the moment on WWHL (clip above). "I was the one that went up there and started that."

Though Izzy also said on WWHL that she didn't regret what she said about Francesca in that instance, she noted, "I probably should have shut the door so she didn't hear, I do admit that."

In fact, Francesca said in the Below Deck After Show that it was actually the volume at which Elizabeth and Izzy were discussing the demotion that was the main problem with the situation. "People chat, like, whatever. You can bitch about whoever. I bitch. Everyone bitches. People need to get things off their chest. And it was a big deal, so I would only assume people would chat about it," Francesca said. "But it was just the loudness of it was the most annoying part of it. It's frustrating."
