Erika Jayne’s ‘How Many F**ks?’ Performance!

Erika Jayne turns to songwriter Justin Tranter when she is looking for an over-the-top tune like "How Many F---s?" He's also penned memorable songs for the likes of Selena Gomez, Britney SpearsJustin Bieber, DNCE, and Gwen Stefani. In an interview with Idolator, Tranter was asked to offer one word for each of the pop stars he's worked with, which was pretty easy for him until he got to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills club diva.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

"Let me just break everything down for you, she doesn’t get one word," Tranter explained. "So, Erika and I have been friends for a long time. Then I get an email from my publisher saying, 'Hey, this new Real Housewife is kind of sweeping the nation. I don’t know if you would ever want to write a song for a Real Housewife, but if you do…' and I was like, 'That’s my friend, yes. Put me in the studio now!' So we did 'How Many F***s' and I just love it. She’s so amazing. But if you want one word, I’ll give you one … hold on. You gotta do these things right. Priceless."

Good word choice, since it's expensive to be Erika Jayne!

"So I've known Erika Jayne for about maybe over four years," Tranter recounted to The Daily Dish last year, calling her the "queen of the world." "She was one of the first experiences I ever had of writing songs for other people. And so then when she takes over the planet on Real Housewives, you know, she hits me up to see if I want to work again. And I'm like 'Of course.' And so we wrote the very subtle, the very family-friendly 'How Many F---s?' ... subtlety is my strong point. 'Cake By the Ocean,' 'How Many F***s?', just keep it real classy for the children."
