Fredrik Eklund Provides Another Glimpse at His NYC Apartment: "Almost Ready..."
The MDLNY and MDLLA alum shared an exciting update on his new Greenwich Village digs.

Fredrik Eklund is about to lift the curtain on his new Manhattan home.
On Wednesday, January 15, the Million Dollar Listing New York and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles alum provided a quick update on the Greenwich Village apartment he secured last summer. Fredrik reassured fans that a proper home tour was right around the corner as he teased an exciting feature in Architectural Digest.
“The New York-apartment is almost ready,” he captioned an Instagram Story. “Architecture Digest-feature [sic] coming soon can’t show you guys too much….”

But Fredrik didn’t leave his followers completely hanging. The real estate mogul shared a handful of apartment photos to hold them over until the big reveal. The first Story showed a previously revealed velvet-pink wall decorated with a large abstract painting. The artwork was illuminated by dramatic recessed lighting and was placed behind a small round wooden table and a few accent chairs.
The following photo was a close-up shot of Fredrik’s gallery wall, which featured a diverse collection of art pieces in different styles of frames. Fredrik focused on a beautiful portrait of a woman sitting at a table while resting her head on her hand. The piece was surrounded by a couple of sketch drawings and smaller colorful paintings.
The Swedish native, who is married to contemporary artist Derek Kaplan, also showed off an incredible circular piece that featured dozens of figures and iconography. The work hung behind a curved sofa with a light wooden base and a stone-top coffee table.
The MDLNY alum didn’t reveal when the home tour would be released, but it’s safe to say he increased the anticipation.
Fredrik reflects on his "new beginnings" while showcasing his new apartment
Fredrik spoke about his digs in a September 19, 2024, Instagram Reel that showed off the building. The video began with Fredrik holding up his keys while standing on his balcony before the camera panned out to the amazing Kohn Pedersen Fox-designed exterior.
“It’s always such a special feeling buying a new home full of new beginnings,” he captioned the post. “New York is always a home to me. This building is very special as I signed the very first contract after having worked on it in pre-development for years with the team. I just knew how beautiful it would turn out.”
Fredrik said the building — located at 64 University Place — had 28 residences, all of which sold out within “a few weeks, completely off market.”
“It’s unheard of,” he said about the quick sales. “People stop on the street now when its finished and take photos of the facade… the warm brick and arches is just so stunning and fits in perfectly with the history of Greenwich Village. And the soothing interiors by SPACE Copenhagen are perfect too. Anyway, we closed $50M worth of residences this week with another $80M coming to close before the end of the month. Congrats to everyone involved! I’m so grateful and happy.”
