After confirming that they split due to distance, time zone issues, and other problems on the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show, Nathan and Gael reunited in Europe. Gael posted a photo from their reunion on Instagram on Sept. 25, and she captioned the steamy shot, "Finders keepers," along with a green heart emoji.

Nathan then confirmed their reconciliation in a PDA-packed post of his own, which featured a photo of him kissing Gael.

"R3KINDL3D," he captioned the image.

What are Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher up to after Season 9?

After going public with their new relationship on Sept. 25, Gael and Nathan have let their followers in on their rekindled romance. Gael posted a series of Snapchat videos of the pair driving around Ireland together on Sept. 26. "Booked a flight to Paris," Nathan shared about the romantic trip he planned for Gael. "We didn't get the flight to Paris... we slept in the morning."

As it turns out, Nathan was planning to drive to Belfast to surprise Gael with a "rebooked" flight to Paris. However, about an hour in to the drive, he realized that he had forgotten something very important: their passports.

Suffice to say, the couple's trip to Paris is now up in the air.

Why did Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher break up?

The Mustique deckhands may now be back together, but things were very different for them when they got off the yacht. After spending six weeks together traveling, Gael said that she began to see a "very different" side to Nathan.

"A little bit of anger and a little bit of, like, stubbornness," she explained on the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show about what changed in her beau once they got off the boat.

Nathan admitted that he was "second-guessing everything" in the relationship once their travels came to an end. Things only became more challenging once Nathan was back in Europe and Gael went home to Australia.

Their communication dropped off after they were in different time zones, and Gael felt like Nathan had "ghosted" her.

Once they got back in touch, Gael said that Nathan told her that he was talking to an ex. A while later, he reached back out to Gael and he said that he never got back together with the ex.

"I didn't really believe him," Gael admitted. "If I'm being honest. Like, 'Yeah, you're full of it.'"

She added that, "He tried to make it work with me again, and history just keeps repeating itself. I really wish we stayed friends, because I think he's a really great friend. I think he's someone who is awesome to be around... Some people you just shouldn't date."
