Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Reacts to Garcelle Beauvais Saying She Is "Like a Little Gnat"

Following the news this spring that Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave may pop up this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the alum did just that and made an appearance in the August 18 episode.

Teddi joined the RHOBH ladies at Kyle Richards' holiday dinner party, and fellow guest Garcelle Beauvais seemed a little surprised to see her. "What's your deal with Teddi?" one of the producers asked Garcelle in an interview during the episode, to which she replied, "I don't know. She's kind of annoying for no reason. Oh, god. Like a little gnat [laughs]."

So, when Teddi saw Garcelle's comments, she "gnat-turally" took to Instagram to share her reaction. "I am all abuzz about tonight’s #RHOBH! A certain someone (me, it’s me) makes an appearance and the time just flies by. While you don’t get to see all the things that gnat-turally happened, I can sleep on my super comfortable mattress tonight knowing I’m happy with who I am and being authentically me," Teddi wrote in a post on Instagram in advance of the episode airing. "Catch the episode tonight at 8PM on @bravotv. And don’t forget the bug spray!"

The August 18 post also included an illustration of a gnat with a photo of Teddi's head placed on top of it.

All in all, Teddi seemed to have a good sense of humor about the whole thing, adding in her Instagram Stories, "If I couldn't laugh at myself I would totally lose it."

Also in good spirits about the post was actually Garcelle, who commented with several face with tears of joy emojis. Kyle, Crystal Kung Minkoff, and Lisa Rinna were all also laughing in the comments to Teddi's post.

Garcelle and Teddi appeared on one season of RHOBH together, Season 10. Following that season, Teddi exited the show after three seasons as a cast member.

Of course, Garcelle was notably at odds with Teddi's BFF Kyle in Season 10. But after sitting down for a heart-to-heart early on in Season 11, the two seem to be in a better place these days. In fact, when one fan recently commented on Twitter that "it’s nice to see how far [Kyle and Garcelle] have been able to come in their friendship this year," Garcelle responded, "Me too."
