Gizelle Bryant’s Reaction to Ashley Darby and Luke Gulbranson’s Breakup May Surprise You
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member’s response came after Ashley announced her and Luke’s split on WWHL.
Ashley Darby recently confirmed that she and Luke Gulbranson are no longer “romantically involved,” but it turns out that Gizelle Bryant doesn’t think the two are “done” quite yet.
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member revealed as much on the latest episode of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. “Are Ashley and Luke, like, done, done, done?” Gizelle teased. “I don’t know.”
She also weighed in on the role Ashley’s ongoing divorce from Michael Darby may have played in the split. “You don’t want to, like, ruffle feathers or upset the other party until the money is inked, OK?” Gizelle said. “So, yes, I think it totally makes sense that Ashley just needs to figure that out right now. And then later, when all that’s inked up, she can live her best life — maybe with Luke.”
In the meantime, Gizelle said she “can’t see” Ashley and Michael “just totally wanting to wipe their hands clean and walk away” from each other. “I think there’s gonna be some back and forth, like, ‘Maybe we should stay together. Maybe we should try to work it out,’ [and] ‘No, we shouldn’t stay together.’”
Gizelle continued, “I told her, ‘If you decide one day you want to stay with Michael, go ahead. This is your life. You gotta live it. You gotta be happy.’”
Suffice to say, Ashley’s life is “very complicated,” as she put it on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen earlier this month while discussing her and Luke’s breakup. “I’m going through a very difficult situation,” she said. “And Luke was a trouper — believe me, he went through some things.”
Ashley continued to sing Luke’s praises on WWHL, adding, “I met his whole family. They were amazing, I fell in love with them. It was so great.”
“But, you know, I am newly single,” she continued. “This is my first relationship after… it’s just nice to be reminded I am that girl. And I love to love and I love to be in love. Give me all the love!”
