Greg Plitt, star of Bravo's Work Out and Friends to Lovers, died tragically in Burbank, Calif. on January 16. The fitness model, born George Greg Plitt, was struck and killed by a passenger train while trying to record a video on the tracks, according to reports. Plitt was 37.
Bravo is deeply saddened by this tragic news. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with Greg's family and friends.
Andy Cohen, who worked with Plitt on Work Out, issued a statement about his passing on Twitter Saturday. "We couldn't take our eyes of Greg Plitt after we cast him in Work Out," he wrote. "[He] was nice as he was beautiful. Seemed invincible, like Superman."
Jackie Warner, Plitt's co-star on Work Out, also responded to the news on Twitter: "Thank you for the outpouring of support and [kind] words. Greg was a living example of health & strength. He lives on in our hearts & minds."
