Back in December, Gretchen Rossi shared the big news. After years of trying to conceive — and lots of heartache along the way — The Real Housewives of Orange County alum had finally become pregnant with her first baby. Later, we found out that Gretchen's little one is a girl, and that we'll get to meet her in July.

In a recent Instagram post, the Orange County mama-to-be gave her fans another update on her pregnancy —and admitted that she can hardly believe this one, herself.

To caption a photo of herself clutching her bump in a chic green dress, the IVF advocate wrote: "Today I am 6 months pregnant! I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by. I am truly loving every minute of being pregnant (even the hard stuff) because I don’t know if I will ever feel a little life growing inside me again. I wake up everyday with massive gratitude for this miracle that God has blessed us with!"

After becoming pregnant herself, Gretchen has become passionate about helping others who face infertility, and who don't have the financial means to undergo IVF without help from insurance. The former 'Wife, who's now working to change legislation surrounding this issue, continued her caption: "However all these amazing emotions I get to feel everyday, I realize so many women and couples might never feel because of not having the financial means to fight infertility and do things like IVF. This breaks my heart and is not ok.This little girl growing inside me has given me the passion, & motivation to stand up, use my platform and my voice to make some noise and try to change this!"

Today I am 6 months pregnant! 🙌🏻 I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by. I am truly loving every minute of being pregnant (even the hard stuff) because I don’t know if I will ever feel a little life growing inside me again. I wake up everyday with massive gratitude for this miracle that God has blessed us with! 🙏🏻 However all these amazing emotions I get to feel everyday, I realize so many women and couples might never feel because of not having the financial means to fight infertility and do things like IVF. This breaks my heart 💔 and is not ok 😤 This little girl growing inside me has given me the passion, & motivation to stand up, use my platform and my voice to make some noise and try to change this! Infertility was diagnosed as a disease and we need to demand that our insurance companies start to cover the prohibitive costs of infertility treatments! We all have the opportunity to have a voice in this! So please join me and the many others that are on a mission to change legislation on this topic! Start reaching out to your local senators and asking them to pass the “Access to Infertility Treatment and Care Act” that Senator @corybooker from New Jersey initiated! (Sidenote: This is not about politics or a political post this is about basic human rights that we all should have when it comes to insurance companies covering a disease 👍🏻) ————————————————————————-I went and meet with the Senator today to thank him for creating this monumental Bill and to find out how I / we can help pass this Bill! It is amazing to see a man fighting for these types of rights! We have some big ideas & campaigns coming up so please be on the lookout so you can do your small part to help (the close to 7million couples) struggling with infertility! We can do this!! We can enact change if we all come together! 💪🏻 ——————————————— Swipe left 👈🏻 Glam by me today💄 Dress from @amazonfashion shoes from @bcbgmaxazria
