Hamilton Star Spills the Tea on Mark Zuckerberg's Party Style

Leslie Odom, Jr. shares his greatest celebrity encounters backstage at the Tony-nominated musical.

Hamilton has taken the world by storm like it's the 18th century all over again. The musical, created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, has won the hearts of theatre lovers from all walks of life, and to prove just how beloved the show has become, it's up for 16 nods at the Tony Awards next month. With all that acclaim, it's no surprise that it's nearly impossible to score tickets to the show. (No seriously, try and get back to us.) That is, unless you're, we don't know, Mark Zuckerberg. The Facebook co-founder caught a performance earlier this month and even shelled out some dough to throw a party for the cast after the show

"That was the latest celebrity that we had and he signed our backstage wall and he wants to come back with his wife and see the show again. Once in a lifetime, all of this," Leslie Odom, Jr., who is nominated for his portrayal of longtime Hamilton rival Aaron Burr, told The Daily Dish about the festivities, which took place at The Lambs Club in Manhattan. And yes, Mark knows how to win over his guests. "He threw a great party," Leslie said. "Food was good, drinks were on him."

But Mark Zuckerberg isn't the company's only celebrity superfan. Hamilton choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, who is also nominated for a Tony for his work in the show, explained that the musical really affected Han Solo himself. "I don't if it's so much of a surprise [fan], but a friend of mine introduced me to Harrison Ford," Andy told The Daily Dish. "And I brought Harrison Ford to the show and I met him after the show and he was speechless. He was very emotional and we instantly developed a camaraderie because the team and I were accomplishing the kind of work that saisfied him. And so all of a sudden there was a friendship and we see life [in a ] eye to eye sort of relationship, which was really exciting and I've seen that a lot."

He isn't lying. Check out some more Hamilton-obsessed celebrities, below.
