A big happy birthday today for cheftestant Harold Dieterle!
On this day, like on every June 11, the Top Chef champion celebrates his birthday. And he holds a special place in Bravo history. Long before he would go on to launch several successful restuarants—including Perilla, Kin Shop and The Marrow—back in 2006 Harold beat out a handful of hungry hopefuls, going on to win the first season of the foodtastic Bravo series.
If you're hankering to take a trip down memory lane, you can check out Harold in this vintage video as he makes his spicy duck meatballs. But we warn you, it might leave you starving.
And while we don't know how he's celebrating, we hope the party includes some of these delicious selections from his and his dog Giuseppe's Instagram accounts. A good glass of whiskey, some pizza and barbeque always makes for a good time, IOHO.
