This became clear on Friday, January 10, when Heather Gay’s second-oldest daughter, Georgia, provided a glimpse at her college life. The Utah native posted a TikTok vlog documenting her sorority rush week experience at the University of Miami. At the time of filming, Georgia was in the process of learning about each organization and had yet to reveal which chapter she wanted to join.

“Rush Day 3 vlog. Today is the philanthropy round Day 1,” she explained while showing off her outfit of the day. “So, we got on a little pink dress, name tag; I’m gonna wear my Uggs to walk over there but I have white heels. I am so excited… I cannot wait. It has been the best week ever, so I cannot wait for another day.”

Georgia spent the day visiting several sorority houses on campus, getting more information about each chapter’s culture and mission. While her schedule was pretty busy, Georgia found herself with a block of free time that allowed for a mid-day refresh.

“I did my makeup at 7:15 in the morning, so I’m going to redo it,” she said. “Call me crazy, but there’s something about having fresh makeup. I also have two hours to do nothing, so might as well redo the makeup… This is kind of making me feel like I’m insane but at the same time I feel perfectly valid doing this.”

The RHOSLC daughter visited a couple more houses before she and a friend returned to their rooms.

“OK, just got back, I realized my voice is starting to go,” she said with a little rasp. “I drank two cups of tea today, so I’m praying that will save me. I’m gonna take my makeup off, steam my dress for tomorrow, and then wake up at 6 a.m. and do it all again.”

On Saturday, January 11, Georgia returned to TikTok to share the final stages of rush week, which included ranking the sororities she was interested in.

"I am currently heading to my last house of the night," she said in the video. "It's been a long day but I'm so excited. Then I have to rank [the organizations] after that, which is gonna be hard."

Georgia completed her selections shortly after and headed into "preference day," a Greek life event in which prospective members visit their top sorority choices before receiving an official bid. The Salt Lake City daughter kicked off "pref night" by revealing her stunning formal look.

Heather Gay says her daughters are living her "sorority girl dreams"

Heather is also mom to high schooler Annabelle and UC Santa Barbara senior Ashley. She spoke about her daughters’ college experiences in an October interview with The Daily Dish.

“Georgia’s going to rush a sorority. Ashley’s in Alpha Phi,” she said. “They’re just kind of living my sorority girl dreams. When I went to college, we didn’t have sororities or fraternities at BYU. They’re not allowed. I always just dreamed of being in a sorority. So to watch my kids do it is just kind of fun.”

Heather confirmed Ashley is majoring in communications while Georgia is studying business “with an emphasis on entrepreneurship.” However, the Salt Lake City mom said her girls have yet to commit to a specific career path.

“We talk about it a lot because they saw me major in humanities and then start a Med Spa and then end up on television,” Heather shared. “They kind of know that college is more about becoming an adult and discovering what they’re interested in. So they haven’t locked themselves into a specific career. I think I’ve been an example of, like, you never know where it’s gonna go.”
