Heather Thomson: 'Ramona Was Bossy, a Know-It-All'

The new ‘Wives critique Ramona and Sonja.

By Lauren Metz

So much for making a good first impression. "Ramona, for me, was bossy, unfiltered, a know-it-all, pushy," Real Housewives of New York City newbie Heather Thomson confides to People about her initial interactions with Ramona Singer.

But fellow RHONY rookie Aviva Drescher interjects, "I think Ramona turns on the charm for somebody when she wants to, and doesn't when she doesn't want to." Now, don't mistake that for Aviva having Ramona's back. "So in the beginning, [Heather] got the monster Ramona and I got the phony, charming Ramona. And then by the end, that changed."

However, at least one new addition to the group seemed to play nice at Turtle Time. "I was able to handle Ramona," Carole Radziwill treads on neutral pavement before Aviva triggers, "Well, you're a princess. She was kissing your ass the whole time."

Switching their attention to the Upper East Side, Heather had fonder words for Ramona's sidekick. "The one thing I have to say about Sonja is she is hysterical. She's got a real comical side to her that keeps you laughing, even when you should be crying."

Barely waving her Sonja flag, Aviva echoes, "Sonja's very funny, and let's just leave it at that."
