Here's Everything You Need to Know About the New Southern Charm Savannah Cast Member Brandon Branch
Catherine Cooper's BFF is officially part of the crew.
Southern Charm Savannah returns on Monday, July 16 at 10/9c and, in addition to the returning Charmers, we'll see two new friends join the group: Hagood Coxe and Brandon Branch. This is the first we'll see of newcomer Hagood — learn more about her here. Brandon is a familar face; last season Catherine Cooper enlisted him to teach her the interior design business in the hopes of a career change. While Catherine's interior design endeavors did not work out as planned, this is our exclusive first look at him outside of his relationship to the OG Savannah Charmer. Witty and well-versed in Southern charm, Brandon left us in stitches last season, so we can't wait to see what he brings to Season 2. Below are some more facts we were able to learn about the Southern gent.
1. He was born in Mississippi, where he attended Mississippi State University and received a degree in horticulture.
However, he will always call Savannah, Georgia, home. All of his interior designs are greatly inspired by Savannah’s historic style.
2. He’s been happily married for two years.
He and his realtor husband Jim Johnston are a dream team.
3. He is one talented interior designer.
Brandon’s interior designs were been featured on HGTV’s Celebrity Holiday Homes, when he gave Trisha Yearwood a Southern-style Christmas she would never forget. Brandon has also appeared on Extra, Good Day L.A., The Today Show, and the Rachael Ray Show.
4. He LOVES antiques!
Antiques fill Brandon’s historic Savannah home, which was built in 1886. “I love anything that has a story or a history,” he says. “I’ve always enjoyed collecting antiques and I buy most of them in Savannah.”
5. He's one proud dog dad!
Brandon loves his cute little pooch named Simon (and his Instagram has some adorable pics of him!).
