Your loved ones don’t need to know that you’ve procrastinated like a champ on your holiday gift procurement. There’s still time to order boxes of these sure-to-be-appreciated cookies, any of which will make you look like you planned this all waaaay in advance. But hurry up, because time actually is running out!

1. Cake’s Chubby Wubby Cookies

Chicago’s Cake offers a non-diet-conscious collection called Chubby Wubby, which involves double-chocolate cookies sandwiched with decadent ganache. You can order individual flavors like mint, hazelnut cream or raspberry, but why not splurge on a mixed gift collection of 12, 16, 24 or 32 pieces instead? If you’re in Chicago, you can get them couriered to you, or you can order online for national delivery by December 18 for ground shipping or December 23 for overnight shipping.

2. Milk Bar’s Compost Cookie® Cake

Milk Bar, the sister bakery to New York’s buzzy Momofuku restaurants and the home of the infamous crack pie, offers what might be the most show-stopping cookie you can get at the last minute: a Compost Cookie® Cake. The 10-inch salty-sweet beast feeds 8-10 people with a dizzying concoction of pretzels, potato chips, coffee, oats, butterscotch and chocolate chips. The deadline to order online for shipping or to reserve for in-person pickup in New York City is December 21.

3. Cake Monkey’s Inside Out S’Mores

Don’t be fooled by its name: Cake Monkey makes killer cookies as well. There’s still time to enjoy the wonders of the Inside Out S’Mores, a housemade graham cracker and chocolate ganache sandwich cookie that’s topped with a tempting tower of toasted marshmallow. Get your online orders in for shipping by December 21 or pick up selections in person at Cake Monkey’s brand new bakery in Los Angeles. Photo credit: Staci Valentine.

4. Rogue Bakery’s Buttermilk Ranch Cookies

Columbus, Ohio’s Rogue Bakery is your go-to for the weird and wild — and that’s exemplified by the popular, savory Buttermilk Ranch Cookie, which magically tastes like ranch dressing even though there isn’t any inside. You’ll have to act a little fast to secure this unusual treat: Online orders must be received by December 19 in order to get them before Christmas.

5. Press 12’s Matchadoodles

Press 12 came up with this addictive mashup of a green tea cookie and a snickerdoodle. It's called a Matchadoodle, and it was devoured by President Obama on a recent visit to San Francisco. Press 12's treats are currently only available for same-day and advance-order delivery in San Francisco via Caviar, but if you’re in the Bay Area, you can snack like the President.
