Housewives Score Their Own Category in iVillage Awards

Vote for the cast who most inspires you to become a housewife... or shop like one.

By Lauren Metz

iVillage launched their second annual Entertainment Awards today, and our Real Housewives nabbed a category all to themselves. Mazel, ladies!

One of the 19 pop culture-related questions asks readers, "Which show makes you want to become a Housewife?" Options include The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and The Real Housewives of New York City. Tough call.

Bravolebrities popped up in two other arenas as well: "Real Housewives Songs" earned a spot in the "We Hate to Admit Loving..." category, but they're pitted against Justin Bieber's hair. We're pulling for Kim Z. and the Countess, but we're afraid the Beliebers may take you down.

And Teresa Giudice's ad for Sizzle Tans made its way onto the list for "Funniest Celebrity Endorsement," along with Snooki selling Wonderful Pistachios, Kevin Bacon backing Logitech Revue, and The Situation and Bristol Palin promoting safe sex for The Candie's Foundation. In fairness, the outspoken Jersey girl recently told fans the commercial for the local salon chain "a terrible mistake," and points out that even a Hollywood heavyweight like Brad Pitt did a chicken commercial in the beginning of his career. So there.

Despite her promotional regret, T's no newbie to the iVillage Entertainment Awards. Last year, her table-flipping feud with Danielle Staub took home the accolade for "Fiercest Real Housewives Catfight" – just narrowly defeating Bethenny Frankel and Kelly Bensimon's bar fight.
