How to RHONJ Ladies Marked Pride Month 2023
The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Margaret Josephs, her mom, Marge Sr., Jennifer Fessler, Jackie Goldschneider, and Margaret's business associate, Lexi Barbuto, gathered in New Jersey to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Previously, Margaret opened up to BravoTV.com about supporting the LGBTQ+ community. "It’s so important for people to be an ally, and people want to know what it means to be an ally," she said. "A great power we all possess is our voice and you know I have a big mouth. So use your voice in your community. Support equal civil rights, speak out for gender equality, raise awareness for LGBTQ social movements, and talk to your children."
"We have to teach this from a very young age," she added. "The sentiment is simple and was taught to me by Marge Sr as a little girl. Love is love. I also work with many charities and advocacy groups like Live Out Loud who do such amazing work for LGBTQ youth."

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmates took to the streets on Sunday, June 4, to participate in the annual West Hollywood Pride Parade. The event went down along Santa Monica Boulevard and featured a star-studded lineup that included Melissa McCarthy, Tinashe, Laith Ashley, Christine Quinn, and Niecy Nash-Betts and her wife, Jessica Betts.
More Details About the West Hollywood Pride Parade 2023
The Beverly Hills besties appeared in the procession while promoting Sutton Concept, a WeHo-based fashion boutique owned and operated by the Georgia native. The two were seen fully decked out in Pride gear while riding in the back of a Bentley convertible. Footage from the event showed Garcelle and Sutton holding rainbow fans as they waved and blew kisses to cheering spectators.
Sutton teased their involvement in a June 3 Instagram photo of herself and Garcelle dressed to the nines. “Getting ready for Pride Parade tomorrow with [Garcelle] on the [The Sutton Concept] ride,” she captioned the picture.
The post drew comments from a number of Bravolebrities, including RHOBH alum Camille Grammer and The Real Housewives of Dallas’ D’Andra Simmons.
“I’m super excited,” Garcelle wrote in the comments.
The Haitian American actress also took to Instagram to share a few photos and videos from the parade, including a clip of the crowd and another of civil rights attorney Gloria Allred. Garcelle captioned the post with a rainbow of heart emojis and the hashtag “love wins.”
The Pride Celebration Continued at Sutton’s Boutique
Following the parade, the RHOBH moms returned to The Sutton Concept boutique for a special Pride celebration. The event introduced the store’s first sustainable line, showcased guest artist Daniel Miagany, and featured music by DJ Kimber Chronic. The proceeds from the party benefitted the Los Angeles LGBT Center and the Phluid Project, a socially conscious brand specializing in gender-free fashion.
Sutton on Being an LGBTQ+ Ally
Sutton, who has become a staple in WeHo Pride, spoke about her allyship during a 2022 interview with Baltimore OUTloud.
“You know, I think for me, I’ve been in the LGBTQ community since I was a little kid,” she explained. “I grew up in the dance world. So, when you’re a dancer and in the performing arts, it’s just normal. So, to speak up and to be able to have a voice for my friends has been such an honor for me.”
She continued: “I love that my store is in West Hollywood because that’s one of my favorite hangout spots in L.A. And to be a part of especially that community, which I think has been such a leader in LGBTQ rights and movements, is just another honor. I’m proud to serve that community in whatever way I can.”
