How Did the Atlanta Housewives Feel Before the Season 8 Reunion?
There was excitement and anxiety in the air on the set of the #RHOA Season 8 reunion.
Filming a Real Housewives reunion is always an emotional roller coaster as the cast revisits the moments that made them laugh, cry, and argue throughout the season. So it's no surprise that the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and host Andy Cohen had mixed feelings on the day of the Season 8 reunion taping last month.
Andy looked and sounded pretty jazzed before he sat down with the Georgia Peaches. "Before the reunion, I'm feeling hopeful, excited, optimistic, and a little antsy," he explained (clip above).
Sheree Whitfield was also eager to film her first reunion since Season 4. "My gosh, it feels amazing to be on the reunion couch after four years," she said. "It's been a very long time, but I'm excited, especially excited to see Andy. I'm having a good time."
Cynthia Bailey was "anxious," "excited," and feeling "fabulous" before taping this season's RHOA reunion. "Obviously the reunion's all about closure, so I'm always excited to just close it up and move on to a new season," she explained. "Regardless of the drama, whoever reads me, I'm gonna look fabulous."
As we all know, being tasked with keeping it all together during a reunion is a difficult and exhausting job. Andy is fully aware that he will not be feeling as positive and fresh when everything is said and done. "In about five hours, I'll be feeling tired, depleted, and irritated," he said.
We second that emotion, Andy.
