Carl Radke Shares a New Peek Inside His Soft Bar + Café
The Summer House cast member is set to open the Brooklyn-based business "soon."

Carl Radke has shared another taste of his much-anticipated concept bar.
The Summer House cast member returned to Instagram this week to provide a quick progress report on Soft Bar + Café — the non-alcoholic establishment he’s opening in New York City. Carl showed off the bar’s interior in a handful of Instagram photos that captured the exposed brick walls, translucent ceiling panels, and metal beams.
Judging by the images, Carl and his team are still working on the space, as there were a couple of instruction signs for the crew.
“Do not remove,” read one of the notes placed on a wall ladder. “If questions talk to Jamie!”
“Keeping the ladder” he captioned the snap.
Carl also posted a picture of the bar’s overhead door and a shot of a staircase. The Hamptons Housemate didn’t provide any more details about the business, including its official grand opening date, but according to the Soft Bar + Café Instagram, the doors are opening "soon.”
Carl Radke explains why he wanted to open a non-alcoholic bar
Fans first learned about the bar concept in Summer House Season 8, when Carl told his then-fiancé, Lindsay Hubbard, he was interested in creating a social space that didn’t serve alcohol.
“I’m proud to be a voice for things that I’ve been through and hopefully help other people,” he said about his years-long sobriety journey. “So I’ve been thinking about a sports bar, non-alcoholic. A sober sports bar.”
Fast-forward to the summer of 2024, when Carl officially announced he was opening Soft Bar + Café in Brooklyn. Since then, Carl has been hard at work promoting the company through various pop-up events and collaborations. He recently teamed up with beverage brand Hiyo on a “Soft January” event, which benefited relief efforts for the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires.
Carl Radke says Soft Bar + Café could "redefine" the industry
Carl shed more light on Soft Bar + Café in an August 2024 interview with People magazine, explaining his overall mission and vision for the company.
“It’s been a journey, for sure. But I feel like this is my calling,” he said. “I’ve just had this drive inside of me that’s said, ‘You’ve got to go for this.’ What I want to do, to my knowledge, doesn’t exist yet. And it’s amazing to be in a position where I can introduce a new concept and help redefine the non-alcoholic industry in a way. I’m really proud of what we’re creating and what I hope will help a lot of people feel like they have a place to go for the first time.”
