Are Reza Farahan and GG Gharachedaghi Ready to Settle Their Beef?
"It's gonna take a minute for me to be able to have her in my life," the #Shahs real estate agent says.
Friendships were tested and relationships were put to the limit during Season 5 of Shahs of Sunset, as the tight-knit group faced a lot of interpersonal turmoil. With some distance between that dramatic reunion, Reza Farahan gave The Daily Dish an update on these on and off again friendships of this L.A.-based crew.
Reza and Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi definitely had the most tumultuous relationship last season, as the real estate agent wasn't shy when it came to sharing his doubts about her struggles with rheumatoid arthritis. It all ended with an argument at Asa Soltan Rahmati's art exhibit over rumors that Reza had a sex tape. While they've recently made strides in getting back to normal, when we spoke to Reza earlier this month, the wound hadn't completely healed.
"I think that for the most part no one condones GG's behavior. GG made up a disgusting lie about me. She claimed she had a sex tape of me... then she said she didn't have it but she saw it, then she didn't see it but it existed. Then she admitted it didn't exist but someone told her a story about me doing something five years ago and then she jumped me and Adam. It's gonna take a minute for me to be able to have her in my life," he said. "I just, I don't trust her. Everyone wants her to kind of rise above and become a better person and I'm a little skeptical and I want proof, so we'll see."
Relive their emotional reunion moment, below.
"I think that MJ and Asa are definitely on the road to recovery," Reza shared, referencing how the women confronted each another at the crew's sit-down when Asa didn't feel supported by MJ. "Peace is in the near future."
Reza's BFF Mike Shouhed is also faring better following his split from ex-wife Jessica Parido. Since announcing his divorce last November, he's back on the dating scene and it sounds like he's having a blast. "Mike was just at a club the other night with me, he was telling bitches that he could turn them into dimes and he could change their lives... he was on one. It literally was one of the most amazing evenings. And the girls were listening, he had a captive audience," Reza said. (FYI, Reza's Yours, Mine or Ours pal, Taylor Spellman, translated that term for us. "For the record, ["dime"] means he will turn them into a 10 because I didn't know what that meant.")
