Is Sandy Basically Brittany Cartwright? Chrissy Teigen Thinks So After Seeing Grease: Live
Celebs react to the live TV musical.
Did you happen to miss Grease: Live Sunday night? That's fine. because Grease virgin Chrissy Teigen was on hand to live tweet the entire broadcast. And in the process of watching the TV event, she had an interesting theory about the plot. Grease, of course, follows the tale of good-girl Sandy and bad-boy Danny (Julianne Hough and Aaron Tveit, in Fox's version), who despite being very different, fall for one another after she moves into town. And in trying to figure out the subtleties of the storyline, Chrissy was able to liken the stage show to one of her favorite Bravo shows, Vanderpump Rules.
With that out of the way, it turns out, she wasn't the only person who tuned in. Andy Cohen, Kyle Richards, Heather Dubrow, Lisa Rinna, and Greg Bennett all made sure to check it out. And, yes, they were all super-enthusiastic about every moment of it.
Aside from their joy over the entire event, their tweets also included shout-outs to Vanessa Hudgens, who played the musical's bad girl Rizzo, and who prior to hitting the stage shared that her father had lost his battle with cancer.
By the time the broadcast was over, both Greg and Chrissy couldn't help but poke fun at the story's outdated final act, where Sandy completely makes herself over so that Danny will like her.
And in case you're looking for a little more Aaron in your life. Check out his recent Watch What Happens Live appearance, below.
