Following the news that his dad, Ronald Cauchi, passed away after a battle with cancer, Jax Taylor headed to Michigan and he was joined by a number of the members of the Vanderpump Rules posse "to help me celebrate my dad's life." Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Jax's girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright, made the trip with Jax, who lost his dad last month.

"I’ve said this a million times already but I can’t thank these girls enough and [David] who’s not pictured for coming to Michigan to help me celebrate my dads life, we are a dysfunctional group some more than others," he shared on Instagram. "But when in time of need over the years I’ve never had to ask any of them for help they just are always there for me... it’s been a crazy week emotional as it gets but makes it a lot easier with a good strong support group. #iloveyoudad #michigan." (Jax has previously shared that while his parents lived in Florida, "Detroit, Michigan is my father's home.")

Jax first revealed the news of his father's illness in December, later confirming to The Daily Dish that he had been diagnosed with stage IV cancer "in his throat, his esophagus" about two months prior. Jax's father had gone through multiple rounds of treatment during his battle with cancer. Following his death, Stassi headed to Twitter to remember Jax's dad, writing, "Your dad was such a wonderful man. And I feel honored to have known him."
