Brittany Cartwright Wants to Go to Couple's Therapy with Jax Taylor: Why He Won't
The Valley couple are at a crossroads when it comes to the next step in how they navigate their separation.
Since sharing the news of their separation in February, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor have been very open about navigating their current relationship status. While the situation is still new for The Valley couple, Brittany recently shared that she is willing to take one major step to see if they can fix their issues: couple's therapy.
However, she notes that her estranged spouse hasn't been as open to the idea.
Why Jax Taylor Won't Go to Couple's Therapy with Brittany Cartwright
Although they are trying to work things out, Brittany told PEOPLE that they have not tried to go to couple's therapy yet, despite Brittany being willing to go. "Jax is extremely stubborn," she said.
"I don't know if we'll ever actually get that far," she added. "He's got things that he needs to work on. I'm not saying I'm perfect, but there's a lot."
She also addressed the idea of going to couple's therapy with her husband on April 2 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, sharing, "That's one of my things that I've said that needs to happen, but no."

Brittany Cartwright Details the Fight that Led to Her and Jax's Separation
During the WWHL appearance this week, Brittany said that she made the decision to separate from Jax after the two got into an argument following a night out.
"Yes, we just had a horrible fight, and it was like the veil was lifted and I noticed everything wrong," Brittany told Andy Cohen about the "final straw" in their relationship. "You know, they always say [that] a woman can hit her breaking point, and then it's hard to come back from that."
While they had been arguing more and more, she continued to explain what this particular fight was about and why it led to the shift: "Just, he kind of woke up one morning [and] was mad that I went out with Kristen the night before and kind of like made up a story in his own head and started a fight over something that never happened."
