Jennifer Fessler Challenges Melissa Gorga's Music Career in Unseen Moment: “I’ll Show You”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey friend put some special skills on display in an extended version of the "Off the Rails" special episode.

On Sunday, August 11, the entire cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey — including Teresa GiudiceJennifer AydinDolores CataniaMelissa GorgaMargaret JosephsDanielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda, as well as friends Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler — came together in two separate rooms to break down the dramatic Season 14 finale.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

In the special episode, dubbed "Off the Rails" — a nod to Rails Steakhouse, where the tense group dinner took place — the ladies reconvened to unpack all the drama and reflected on where they go from here.

At the very end of the Peacock's extended version of the episode, Jenn Fessler offered up some hopeful comedic relief, bringing her guitar for an interview confessional to play an original song.

"I have been finding myself going through a creative phase," Jenn shared, beginning the hilarious song she wrote (!) about Season 14.

"Teams divided / pick your side and / close your eyes and pray," Jenn sang in the clever chorus to her song. "Friendships changin' / some worth savin' / Season 14 R-H-O-N-J.

At the end of her track, Jenn jokingly made a competitive pass at Melissa, who showed her pop star ambitions with the single, "On Display," back in 2011 on RHONJ.

"I'll show you 'On Display!'" Jenn quipped at the camera.

In our humble opinion, Jenn just showed she has the chops to be a bonafide folk musician — a true bard of the Housewives extended universe.

The RHONJ Cast Predicts What Will Happen After the Dramatic Finale

Following that dramatic finale and special episode, the RHONJ ladies reflected on their journey throughout the season, with Jenn having a more optimistic viewpoint for what's to come.

"You can see underneath all the madness, there is a love," she shared in a June interview with BravoTV.com. "You can almost feel it, you can see it, and so it's so nice at the end when you see women getting back together. But it makes me sad that that is not in the cards for, I think, most of this cast."

Other ladies, however, didn't have such a rosy POV.

"What was done this year, there's no going back. There isn't," Danielle shared in an interview. "Last year, I was like, 'Yeah, we can all get back.' This year? No."

Jackie echoed those sentiments in her interview, saying, "I don't think the group, as it is, goes anywhere from here."

Teresa, for her part, was critical of the group's dynamic.

"[RHONJ]'s a show about women getting along and not, like, cutting people out, and teams," she shared in her July interview. "Like, who does that? That's so high school-ish."

Melissa was ultimately the cast member who seemed the most content with the way things played out at the end of the season.

"That's what life is about to me: It's just about being happy and enjoying it with good friends and good people, and keeping people around you that really wish well for you and want to see you thrive and want to see you do well," she explained in her May interview. "I've learned — and it might've taken me into my 40s to learn — that if someone doesn't wish you well and someone doesn't clap for you or want the best for you, then it's time to remove them from your life. And I'm okay with that."
