Jennifer Pedranti Unpacks “Tough” Financial Status Amid Eviction: “Can’t Even Breathe”
Jennifer Pedranti revealed she owes more than $20,000 in unpaid rent on the RHOC Season 18 premiere.
A lot has changed for Jennifer Pedranti in the year since she made her debut on The Real Housewives of Orange County, but on the July 11 Season 18 premiere, she revealed that one major aspect has remained the same: the status of her divorce from her ex-husband, William "Will" Pedranti.
That, in turn, has drastically affected Jennifer's living situation for her and her five children. As she explained in a confessional interview on the episode, "Last year, we had a beautiful home. But then the owner of the home ended up selling the house."
Thankfully, newly-minted realtor Gina Kirschenheiter subsequently stepped up and helped Jennifer and her kids "get into the perfect house."
"It's big enough for my family!" Jennifer exclaimed before dropping a bombshell. "But now, we are getting evicted."
Why did Jennifer Pedranti get evicted?
Jennifer explained to her fiancé, Ryan Boyajian, on the RHOC Season 18 premiere that she and Will were ultimately unable to afford the rent on the house Gina helped find.
"I've been talking to my landlord. Just to catch myself up on rent, I feel like it was a number like 24,000 [dollars] or something," Jennifer said.
She elaborated further in a confessional, telling the RHOC cameras, "Since Will and I separated, we have made very little progress in my divorce. Unfortunately, it's taking Will a long time to turn in financials. He was responsible for the lion's share of the rent and I was responsible for a small portion."
Jennifer noted she was under the impression that rent was being fully paid, "but then I started seeing a group text with Will and I and the owner of the home, saying, 'I received partial payment of the rent. Are you gonna pay the rest of the rent?'"
After that, Jennifer learned she was being evicted.
Jennifer Pedranti's financial difficulties, explained
Jennifer owns a yoga studio, but as she pointed out on the RHOC Season 18 premiere, that job "doesn't pay enough for me to cover rent."
"I get paid $50 a class," she added. "And Will is no longer working for the family, so neither of us were able to pay rent."

When it comes to her other financial obligations, Jennifer shared that she's been getting help from both Ryan and her father. She told the former, "I feel like I'm asking you and my dad to catch me up, but I still can't even breathe because then the next month rolls around. And my dad is splitting my attorney bills."
Where is Jennifer Pedranti living?
Ryan suggested on the RHOC Season 18 premiere that Jennifer and her children simply move in with him.
"I know you say that, but are you thinking this whole thing through?" Jennifer replied. "What if you and I fall apart? We can't stay. I gotta figure it out again."
Ryan pushed back, pointing out that "it's the path of least resistance."
"What if you allow yourself to go to the other side where you say, 'What if it all works out like we planned?'" Ryan continued. "And why wouldn't it work out? We got this."
With that, Jennifer's mind seemed to be made up.
