Jill Zarin Goes to College
Reality TV symposium among her upcoming stops.
If last night's return of The Real Housewives of New York City didn't fully fill your Jill Zarin fix, fret not -- you have a couple opportunities for facetime with her in the next few weeks.
First, the RHONY star is bound for Bridgeport, Connecticut this weekend for an appearance at Congregation Rodeph Sholom -- she and sister Lisa Wexler and mother Gloria Kamen will be on-hand, marking the paperback release of Secrets of a Jewish Mother. The event will feature a book-launch presentation, Q&A session, and a book signing. Admission is $36, but if you're looking for additional quality time with Jill, you might want to check out the VIP pre-launch for $75.
Then, it's off to Providence, Rhode Island where Jill will be the featured speaker at Brown University's "We Are Who We Watch: Reality TV, Citizenship, Celebrity Symposium" on April 22. The day-long symposium will tackle issues like "It's Not TV, it's Birth Control: Reality TV and the 'Problem' of Teen Pregnancy" and "Global Reality Television Beyond Neo-Liberalism, Or, What Does Star Academy Have to Do with the Arab Uprisings?" before Jill takes to the podium for what's being billed as "A Real Conversation."
