Joanna Krupa's Latest PETA Ad Makes a Bloody Statement

Joanna Krupa has never been shy when it comes to making a statement for PETA. And now the Real Housewives of Miami model is making her loudest one to date. In a campaign billed as "Wool: The Naked Truth," Joanna appears naked and bloody, holding a fake animal carcass. It's meant to bring attention to the way sheep are treated in the process of making wool. "When human beings are abused and beaten, we can ask for help, can call the police, can ask a family member, can ask a friend, 'Please help me.' Sheep beaten and abused for wool need someone on their side, too," Joanna said in a statement. "My PETA ad may be shocking to look at, but I hope it will open people's eyes and encourage them to choose kind, wool-free fashion."

Joanna further addressed her work with the organization in a lengthy post on Instagram. "I'm against all violence .... Human and animal," she wrote. "The only difference is that an animal can't speak and ask for help @officialpeta. The reason I decided to be part of this ad is because I had no idea that people were so cruel. They beat these sheep in these wool farms. Some of them get slammed, break their necks. Millions of them each year. They end up dying. They're shearing the animals so quickly that they cut them open sometimes, and they sew them without any painkillers." #Peta #compassion #saynotoviolence I m not perfect but I try to live my life filled with compassion and educate myself what is going on in the world."

Following the reveal of the eye-catching ad, fans showed their support for Joanna's stout anti-animal violence policy and didn't seemed very fazed by the shocking image.
