Josh Altman's Fiancée Heather Bilyeu Says Her Wedding Dress Makes Her "Feel Like Cinderella"
The #MDLLA couple spill all the details on their "enchanting" venue and who's in the bridal party.
Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu's wedding has been a long time coming, but the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles couple will finally tie the knot on April 2. Of course, we can't wait to hear all of the deets about these highly-anticipated nuptials, and luckily we don't have to.
Josh and Heather recently sat down with Access Hollywood to spill all of the details on the wedding. Because they've already been through some of this before since they put the ceremony on hold in October 2014, the couple said they're now excited and not nervous about the big day. "No, I think we got all the jitters out two years ago when we canceled our first wedding," Heather told Access Hollywood in the clip, below.
Josh and Heather will be having a destination wedding at the Aspen Art Museum in Colorado. "Josh's parents live in Aspen, so we go and visit all the time," Heather explained. "And it's like a second home, and it's so enchanting and magical, and we have such a good time there. So we figured, why not?"
Though that sounds quite grand, Josh and Heather are actually keeping much of their wedding pretty modest. They will each only have one person in their respective bridal parties, Heather's cousin and Josh's brother. "We wanted to keep it real simple," Josh said.
However, the couple has decided to go big in other areas, like in the all-important wedding dress department. Heather commissioned a custom gown from Australian designer Nektaria, who she found on Instagram. "She hasn't yet launched here. And so I'm so excited that she was able to design my custom gown. She's come to L.A. a couple times," Heather revealed. "I just got my dress in the mail yesterday from Australia, and it's absolutely stunning. It's all hand-sewn, hand-stitched, 6,500 glass pearl beads. it's really elaborate and detailed. I'm gonna feel like Cinderella."
The couple is also planning a Comedy Central-style roast for their rehearsal dinner, as well as an African safari honeymoon in August. But don't worry. They are going to take some time out immediately after the wedding to jet off to some place like Hawaii or Cabo for a few days. "We're gonna do a mini-moon," Josh said. "The real one we're gonna put on hold because in real estate, you learn one thing, and that's hit while it's hot.
One thing Josh and Heather are not planning on putting on hold for very long is their baby plans. "He's dying to have kids," Heather said. "Right after he proposed, it was like, 'OK, now the babies.' I was like, 'No, hold on. Slow down.'"
But Josh has a good reason for growing their family ASAP. "I want to have lots of kids so I can have lots of mini-real estate agents so I can retire soon," he joked.
