Josh Altman Admits He's Going "Through the Wringer" with Heather: "Bad News for Me"
"It's been so hard," the MDLLA agent shared while discussing a tough year in his marriage to Heather Altman.
As fans are well aware, things haven't been super easy in Altman household. No, not on the real estate side — business is actually booming for the Altman Brothers team. It's the relationship side that's seen some struggle throughout Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Season 15 as Josh Altman and Heather Altman have been navigating a chaotic time in their marriage.
While viewers have heard Heather's concerns throughout the season, During Episode 9, which aired Wednesday, September 4, Josh also admitted things weren't going too well in his marriage at the time.
As he chatted with Tracy Tutor at an open house, Josh shared that Heather was home with their kids, Lexi and Ace. "It's a lot," he said, listing off some of his recent business leaps. "I don't want to say a lot of it has to do with the kids, but a lot of it has to do with the kids. It's been so hard. We've been through the wringer this year."
In a confessional, he shared more about how working to open their Orange County office was putting a strain on their marriage.
"I just figured on top of everything that Heather and I have on our plate, why not just put more stress on and have a ribbon cutting ceremony. Heather is handling it," he said. "Bad news for me, she's not here and that's probably not helping us right now."
Heather Altman shared a glimpse into her marriage issues with Josh
During Episode 7, Heather also opened up to Tracy about the state of her relationship.
"It's been tough," she admitted. "There's been lots of difficulties with work and kids. But then I've got a husband who's like, 'We need to go here, and I need you to show up to this listing appointment down in Newport. And then I need you in San Diego. And I need you in Arizona and I need you in Miami. And check this.' Which is okay — I love being a part of all of that — but then I have to sacrifice some things."
"It's tough on the marriage and it's tough on the kids," she added in a confessional. "But Josh isn't going to stop until he proves to everyone that he's number one. Which is what I love most about him, but it also may kill me at the same time."
Where do Josh Altman and Heather Altman stand today?
At the end of the September 4 episode, the couple made another comment about their marriage. But this time it was more positive.
Following a disastrous double date with Tracy and Josh's friend and client, Dr. Ben, Heather noted that "in all seriousness, the past year now looks really good after being out with Dr. Ben for one evening."
"Thank you Dr. Ben," added Josh, before offering his wife an "I love you" and sweet kiss.
Even more good news: in a June interview with The Daily Dish, Heather shared that things are much better for the couple today.
"It finally took over me, and I had a moment, a big realization of, ‘Hey we can’t keep going at the rate that we’re going. It’s not physically possible and it’s not fun anymore, and I want to enjoy life,'" she noted. "So we had an epiphany and had a good heart-to-heart, and we’re on the same page."
