In the weeks leading up to the new year, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent announced he had sold a one-of-kind home for $10,995,000. Josh celebrated the transaction in a December 20 Instagram post that showcased the property’s modern interior and jaw-dropping outdoor space.
Josh Flagg celebrates $11 million home sale: "Elevated luxury"
The LA native said the home was designed by award-winning architect Steve Hermann and was located in the highly coveted Trousdale Estates in Beverly Hills. The home included five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a powder room.
“Contemporary masterpiece,” Josh wrote about the property. “Discreetly concealed behind gates and mature landscaping is this 4,500 SqFt architectural, showcasing unparalleled design. Drenched in natural sunlight with seamless transition to the outdoors caters to an entertainer’s dream while exuding absolute tranquility.”
Josh went on to highlight some of the home’s most desirable and unique features, including custom track lighting, Terrazzo flooring, high-gloss kitchen cabinetry, a dining room that opens to the outside, an Antonio Lupi bathtub, and a resort-worthy yard with a teakwood deck and an infinity edge pool.
“A juxtaposition of sleek modern and warm textures create a harmonious blend of elevated luxury,” he concluded the post.
Who owned the home Josh Flagg sold?
According to the New York Post, Josh sold the home for Julie Wainwright — an e-commerce entrepreneur and founder of The RealReal. The outlet reported Wainwright had purchased the home in 2021 for $9.65 million. The property was listed for $11.99 million in August and received a $1 million price reduction the following month.
Realtor Hang Zhang represented the buyer, who has not been publicly identified.
Josh Flagg shares details about his relationship with boyfriend, Kelton
The home sale came during an exciting time in Josh’s personal and professional life. Over the past year, the Compass real estate agent settled into his new Beverly Hills home, embarked on an ambitious home build in Florida, and confirmed his relationship with Kelton Hovland. Although he hasn’t provided details on when he and Kelton started dating, Josh has made it quite clear that the romance is serious.
“[Kelton’s] a little bit more private,” Josh told The Daily Dish in July. “I’m in a serious relationship [with a] really good, nice guy who’s from New York and lives in LA. So we go back and forth between New York and Los Angeles.”
Despite living on opposite coasts, Josh and Kelton see each other on a regular basis and split their time between LA and NYC, where they also have a home.
“So my boyfriend and I are in New York one week every month, and we’re in LA three weeks every month,” he said during his November 19 appearance on Estate Media’s Real Talk podcast. “So [we’re] bicoastal.”
