Josh Flagg Just Sold Judy Garland's Former House for $11 Million: Details
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent's latest sale is steeped in Hollywood history.
Josh Flagg just made a major sale.
According to The Real Deal, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent was the listing agent for a 2.7-acre estate that Judy Garland once owned. The home, built and commissioned by architect Wallace Neff in the same year Garland was cast in The Wizard of Oz, was sold for $11 million.
The beautiful, 5,500-square-foot home is about a mile from Sunset Boulevard and was built for Garland when she was just 16 years old. It's also been home to other celebrity residents, including Marvin Gaye and Quincy Jones.
The Bel-Air property also features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, along with a gated driveway, a chef's kitchen with a marble island, a pool in the backyard, and a writer's cottage.

In addition to making big sales, Josh is also makes big purchases.
As seen in the preview above for Season 15, Episode 3 of MDLLA (set to air Wednesday, July 24), Josh reveals he bought his childhood dream house for over $9 million — sight unseen. In the clip, Josh tours the five-bedroom home with Tracy Tutor and it was a little dilapidated.
"It's really f-cked up that from the outside it looks like a jewel," Tracy says in the clip.
In a confessional interview, Josh explains why he decided to make the pricey purchase. "I've loved this house since I was a child," he says. "And by the way, I'm not alone. It's one of those beautiful houses that everyone walks by and is like 'Oh my god. It's so perfect.'"
He adds: "I've waited my whole life to see the inside of this house — suddenly the plot has changed. At least there's nice crown molding?"
"You're essentially starting from scratch here," Tracy noted during the episode as the pair walked through the home. "Are you ready for this?"
To tackle the needed renovation, Josh estimated he would need several years.
"This is not going to be a nine-month project," Josh noted in an interview. "This is going to be, well, a three-to-four year project."
