Oh, l'amour!
Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker faced a lot during their first year of marriage—the loss of his mother, the continued meddling of hers—but this weekend, the Real Housewives of Atlanta stars are celebrating their wedding anniversary in Paris and looking more in love than ever.
"My baby did a great job putting this trip together! So many surprises," Kandi captioned a photo of the couple dining inside the Eiffel Tower Saturday night, one year after they tied the knot. "The view is amazing...I love you!"
On Easter Sunday, Kandi and Todd continued exploring Paris with a guided visit to the Louvre. "I'm really enjoying my trip," Kandi wrote on Instagram after their tour while praising Todd's planning. "That museum was HUGE! Thank goodness he got us a tour guide who made sure we saw all the best displays. It's so big that we would've missed something. 3 hours & we still didn't see everything."
Next, the couple was off to one of the most popular lovers' destinations in Paris: Pont des Arts bridge, where more than 700,000 couples have attached locks symbolizing their love. "After the museum we had to go to the Locks of Love Bridge [and] put our love lock on there," Kandi captioned a shot of the pair on the famous bridge.
At the beginning of the trip, Kandi asked Todd to share his thoughts on marriage one year in. Despite the obstacles they've tackled in the last year, Todd is optimistic married life will be smooth sailing going forward. "I think it's about to be on auto-pilot," he told Kandi in the video posted to Instagram. "Life is good. I'm in Paris—with my wife!"
