You Have to See Kandi Burruss and Tiny Harris Channeling TLC With "No Scrubs"
The Xscape singers performed the hit they wrote at VH1's Hip-Hop Honors.
Kandi Burruss and Tiny Harris conquered the R&B world as teenagers in the group Xscape and later enjoyed great success behind the scenes as the songwriters of TLC's 1999 worldwide hit "No Scrubs." So it was very exciting to see them dressed as TLC's T-Boz (in a bright red wig) and Chilli (with long, flowing hair), respectively, to sing a snippet of the enduring anthem as part of a medley of memorable '90s hits at VH1's Hip-Hop Honors.
The longtime pals even wore the black bodysuits from TLC's original video, and showed off some of the original body-rolling choreography.
Earlier in the evening, the singers joined their Xscape colleagues in coordinating denim onstage to perform a flash of their 1993 R&B hit "Just Kickin' It."
You can catch more from the group's epic reunion in Xscape: Still Kickin' It, set to premiere this November.
Kandi wasn't the only RHOA pal in attendance: NeNe Leakes also stopped by the event.
RHOA returns this November 5. Check out a trailer, below.
