Karen Huger has had plenty of iconic moments on The Real Housewives of Potomac over the years. However, there is one interview bite from the current Season 6 of RHOP that really impressed Andy Cohen.

How to Watch

As Andy and Gizelle Bryant got to talking about Karen during the October 3 WWHL After Show (clip above), the talk show host and executive producer of The Real Housewives noted how in awe he was of the grande dame when she explained to one of the show's producers why she filmed her Surry County, Virginia tourism video in Potomac during the September 12 episode of RHOP. "Well, you can call this a trial run, but my hometown, Surry County, is within me," Karen said in an interview during the episode. "So wherever I go is Surry County."

"That was the greatest response. That shows you how quick Karen Huger is," Andy said on this past Sunday's WWHL. "I was like, you know what, I vote for this woman as mayor of Surry County, actually."

Karen further clarified why she didn't film that tourism video in Surry County on Instagram following that episode of RHOP. "Thank you Potomac for offering me a place to PRACTICE my Surry County Ambassador video," she wrote in a post on September 12. "The actual shoot was in the beautiful Surry County VA."

She also included a clip of the finished product in the post. "We welcome you. Please enjoy," Karen said of the Surry County tourism video.

Weeks prior to that, Karen opened up about how important her hometown will always be to her on Instagram. "Surry County is where my [heart] is. As my first official duty to the county, we’ve produced Surry County”s tourism video," she shared. "I welcome and invite you to experience the history and culture Surry County has to offer!"

Speaking of sentimental moments, Gizelle also revealed something we didn't see on TV during her Reasonably Shady party featured in the September 26 episode of RHOP. "They didn't show this, but when my kids came out to make sure their mommy's toe was OK, because it was broken, Karen jumped out of her seat and gave each of my kids a hug," Gizelle said on WWHL on October 3 (clip below).

Gizelle said that she found this to be significant given the tension between her and Karen this season. "That meant a lot to me, and it shows that we can fuss and fight, but the kids stay out of it," she said. "And that's what real good girlfriends do; they fight but keep the kids out of it."
