Captain Lee Rosbach Has FEELINGS About Kate Chastain and Ashton Pienaar's Makeout Session

With more than three decades in the yachting industry under his belt, including seven seasons of Below Deck, Captain Lee Rosbach has certainly seen a lot during his time on the high seas. However, he never expected to see this.

Kate Chastain and Ashton Pienaar ended up locking lips during the crew's night out in the November 11 episode of Below Deck (clip above). Captain Lee was already not prepared to see it all play out when the moment was teased after last week's episode. "OMG there are some things you cannot unsee," Captain Lee tweeted at the time. "Did Ashton really stick his tongue where I thought he did?"

But in a post on Captain Lee's blog on his website, the Below Deck boss applauded Brian de Saint Pern for encouraging Ashton to focus his attention on Kate so that he could spend more time with Courtney Skippon alone. "Brian, I thought that was a pretty smooth move deflecting Ashton’s attention to Kate and away from Courtney," Captain Lee wrote. "But I’m not so sure that Kate appreciated it."

Captain Lee also gave Kate the award for "line of the night" when she said during an interview in regards to Ashton, "Don't use my mouth as your receptacle for insecurity and jealousy." "I certainly didn’t see that one coming. Bet you didn’t either," Captain Lee wrote in his blog. "At any rate I think you handled that well, and all in all had a great week."

In case you were wondering how Kate felt about her makeout session with Ashton, she made her feelings pretty clear on Twitter after just seeing a preview of their kiss.
