Kate Chastain on Why She "Selfishly Was Kind of Thrilled" About Charter Guest Brandy in the Beginning
The Below Deck chief stew was admittedly excited to see Brandy down for the count during the yacht tour.

Given all the attention the crew had to give to charter guest Brandy on Below Deck Season 7, you might be surprised to learn there was one crew member who was initially delighted to see Brandy stumble onto the yacht.
"Honestly, I selfishly was kind of thrilled because I was, like, oh, yay, that’s already one less guest I have to take care of," Chief Stew Kate Chastain admitted on The Daily Dish podcast.. "Because halfway through the boat tour she’s passed out on the couch."
Unfortunately, though, she required even more work than any of the other guests on that charter. Brandy was in such bad shape that she had to be escorted back to the beach and have the medics called to come investigate. Even Captain Lee Rosbach sat with her for "a long few hours" to monitor her.
"I’ve never had anything like that happen before. And, um, it was really kind of scary," Captain Lee said. "I mean, she already was in a full-blown meltdown and just trying to get her calm enough to find out what was going on. I couldn’t get any information out of her. I mean, I checked all of her vitals. She was fine in that respect. I got the doctor out there and that’s when I think she kind of, uh, took notice that, okay, your bluff has been called, so... Either, if you’re really sick you’re really sick, but we’re going to find out now."
