Raquel Leviss’ Photo with Tom Schwartz Sparks Feud Between Katie Maloney and Scheana Shay

Time does not heal all wounds — at least that hasn’t been the case for Vanderpump Rules’ Katie Maloney and Raquel Leviss. Now, to make things even more complicated, Scheana Shay is also getting involved in the drama.
The latest development in the ongoing feud — which was sparked when Raquel made out with Katie’s ex-husband, Tom Schwartz, and Katie subsequently labeled her a “fan girl” — came when Raquel took to Instagram on February 19 to share photos of her and Tom together.
Captioned “Just cause” with a peace sign emoji and another with its tongue sticking out, the post eventually garnered Katie’s attention. “You really thought you did something here,” she commented, “but these comments ATE LOLOL.”
Another Instagram user jokingly replied, “girl please, we are not being sad over men with the personality of spray cheese in 2023,” prompting Katie to write back, “nobody sad. Lol spray cheese … I’m dead! The amount of times the picture landed in my inbox I couldn’t leave it alone. Desperado.”
Scheana later left a comment of her own, referencing remarks she made during a recent episode of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. According to her, Katie had initially given Raquel and Tom her “blessing.”
“There was a conversation that happened between Katie and I … and Katie said, ‘I think they would make a good couple,’ or ‘They might be a good match,’ or something along those lines,” Scheana claimed on the podcast. “So I took that and ran with it, and I told Raquel, ‘Katie kind of gives you her blessing if you want to pursue that.’”
Katie, however, maintained that she “had 17 drinks before this ‘conversation,’” as she commented on a fan account’s post, which featured a video of Scheana’s aforementioned comments. “I was making light of rumors and being like sure ya girl whatever… talk to me when [I’m] sober. But I guess she got what she wanted.”
Katie then took to her Instagram Stories to share screenshots of texts between her and Scheana further discussing the matter. “Back in May.. after we spoke in Vegas.. I told Scheana I wasn’t down for this s--t,” Katie captioned the first screen grab, “so keep going with this diabolical nonsense.”
She also accused Scheana of “lay[ing] some ground work” for Tom and Raquel to get together, despite the fact that, as Katie put it, she was “nothing but supportive” when Scheana went through her divorce from Mike Shay in 2016. Elaborating on this by commenting on a post from another Vanderpump Rules fan account, Katie wrote, “I was [very] supportive during her divorce and wouldn’t have dreamed of meddling this way.”
“Grief isn’t linear and I have said all kinds of s--t, cried, and screamed,” she added in part. “All while being under a microscope and thought I had actual friends during these conversations.”
Scheana didn’t respond to Katie sharing their texts, but in the messages, she continued to maintain that she was under the impression Katie didn’t care if Raquel and Tom hooked up.
