Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, and More Celebs Rally Around Bullying Victim Keaton Jones After Video Goes Viral
The 11-year-old earned the sweetest shout-outs from celebrities on social media.
Bullying is a heartbreaking issue that so many people can relate to — including A-list celebrities. Stars like Katy Perry and Victoria Beckham are among the many famous faces who are passionate about putting an end to the damaging practice. So when a video was released of 11-year-old Keaton Jones, in which he described the horrifying taunting he endures at school, celebrities were moved to respond en masse.
In the video — which went viral shortly after Jones' mother Kimberly posted it on December 8 — the Tennessee student described how his classmates tease him mercilessly about his appearance, and even pour milk on him and put ham down his clothing in the lunch room.
The outpouring of celebrity support on social media was swift. Many celebrities expressed solidarity with the young boy, while others even extended premiere invites. Actor Chris Evans, for example, asked Jones to attend the premiere of The Avengers: Infinity War in Los Angeles next year.
