Kenya Moore Calls Brooklyn "the Light in My Life I Need in Such Difficult Times"
The RHOA mom opens up about how her daughter is "thriving."
The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kenya Moore is feeling the glow from her daughter during a recent bonding experience with Brooklyn Daly. In a video shared by Kenya, Brooklyn, 19 months, shows the world just how smart she is while identifying items on flash cards, but it's the message Kenya captioned the moment with that holds special meaning for her.
"My daughter is thriving! She is kind, loving and smart! This is the light in my life I need in such difficult times," she wrote, adding a hashtag that references the Black Lives Matter movement, as well as the hashtags "change," "Black mothers matter," and "hope."
Kenya has been vocal about how people can use their voices to help change the country for the better as Black Lives Matter protests continue and conversations around diversity and tolerance are going on around the country. She recently posted a selfie of herself stepping out to vote with the caption: "Countless ancestors and freedom fighters died so that we could have a voice today. Exercise your rights and vote for change."
