Kanye West Postpones Tour Dates Following Kim Kardashian's Robbery in Paris
The rapper puts family first after his wife's scary incident.
Kanye West postponed two dates on his Saint Pablo tour days after Kim Kardashian was robbed in Paris over the weekend. The rapper rescheduled two stops (October 4 and October 6) in light of the events, the concert promoter Live Nation confirmed to Rolling Stone. "Due to family concerns, this week's Philadelphia and Detroit dates on the Saint Pablo Tour have been rescheduled," Live Nation said in a statement. "The Philadelphia show will take place on December 13 and the Detroit show on December 22."
Kanye will be back on stage on October 7 in his hometown of Chicago. The news of the rescheduled tour dates comes after he abruptly ended a concert in New York on Sunday after learning of the incident involving his wife during which two armed, masked men held the reality star at gunpoint and robbed $10 million worth of jewelry as well as cell phones at a swank hotel known as the "No Address Hotel."
Following the robbery, Kim's rep released a statement, saying, "Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed." Kim left Paris on a private flight back to the states following the incident. She has remained off social media following the events.
