Take it from a former supermodel to look stunning after two kids. But it’s not all just good genes that keeps Kristen Taekman looking her best—her diet has a lot to do with it, too. "I try to avoid sugar unless I've exercised," she tells People. Luckily for us she’s sharing other secrets and spilled her daily diet to the magazine. Check out what the Real Housewives of New York mom of two preps every day to look and feel her best.
The most important meal of the day! Kristen gets things cracking with 1 berry-melon Eboost shot, 2 cups of organic Kukicha Twig tea, rye toast with butter and honey, home fries, 2 scrambled eggs and 2 pieces of bacon. Then she washes it down with three 8-oz. glasses of water.
Between meals Kristen enjoys 1 pack of raw almonds.
Mid-day Kristen prepares a kale, mushroom and chicken salad with walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette. She pairs it with a ½ cup of broccoli and cheddar soup along with 1 bottle of San Pellegrino sparkling water.
Before dinner, Kristen snacks on 1 bag of lime and salt Skinnygirl popcorn (shout out to co-star Bethenny Frankel!) with 1 orange flavored Eboost on ice.
For the last meal of the day, Kristen keeps it pretty simple with roasted chicken and green beans.
For dessert, she has 2% Greek yogurt with strawberries and agave 1 cup organic decaf mint tea.
All of this adds up to only 2,040 calories--and a pretty smoking Housewife!
