Kristen Taekman Reveals Her Fitness Secrets
The stunning model admits she has no idea how to lift weights.
Our newest NYC housewife has made a career out of being beautiful, modeling for the likes of Harper's Bazaar and Glamour as well as ads for L'Oréal and Clairol. But just how does Kristen Taekman, mother of two young children, stay in shape?
A 20-minute workout DVD which she helped develop called JCORE. "It's a 20-minute workout in a 4x4 space and I do it in the living room while my daughter runs around," she tells The Dish. "You can start at 7 and you're done at 7:20, and you throw your kid in their high chair with Cheerios. Everyone has 20 minutes."
The fit mom also does Pilates and works with a nutritionist. "I've had a nutritionist forever, before I got pregnant with my first son," she says, "and she keeps me on track with supplements and eating." Indeed, nutritional supplements are the family business: Kristen's husband, Josh, is the co-founder of the celeb-loved energy supplement company EBOOST.
One thing the Real Housewives of New York City star confesses she can't figure out? The gym. "I'm not a gym person!" she says. "I don't know how to do the weights! I'm embarrassed but I don't know how to do those!"
We don't think the gorgeous model has anything to be embarrassed about since whatever she's doing is clearly working!
